Coaching
Fundraising is a complicated task, and even the most experienced staff members need advice and guidance sometimes. I offer strategic fundraising guidance in the form of structured coaching so you can identify your problem areas and grow both your fund development program and your professional career. Whether you’re brand-new to a fund development role and need help establishing a program or are an experienced professional up against an organizational roadblock, I can help you achieve your goals.
I provide one-on-one support to tackle your toughest challenges. Still have questions? Read on for more about Executive Coaching. Ready to get started?
Through coaching sessions, I provide targeted support and training for fundraising and marketing staff, executive directors, board leaders, philanthropists, and community change-makers.
Are you trying to fundraise with limited resources? Are internal politics thwarting your best efforts? Is your organization’s leadership not providing the support you need? You don’t have to do it alone. Together we can strategize and problem solve, giving you new perspectives and tools to tackle your problems. As a former nonprofit staff member myself, and an experienced fundraising professional, I can help you navigate through your challenges or roadblocks. Nonprofit management and fundraising are demanding jobs; I can help you stay motivated, feel energized, and be ready to achieve even greater things.
Sessions focus on your most pressing issues in any area related to nonprofit development or careers that you wish to address. Common topics include:
- developing a major donor program
- how to achieve career goals
- fundraising planning and execution
- how to tell your nonprofit’s story
- work-life balance
- implementing new fundraising strategies
- creating a fundraising culture
- leading effective board and staff retreats
- how to prevent burnout
- managing difficult personalities
Coaching schedules are customized to meet your needs, so the frequency of sessions can be weekly or biweekly. In order for you to receive the most out of the coaching relationship, the minimum duration is three months and six to twelve months is highly recommended.
Coaching sessions are 45 minutes by phone. In between sessions, I’m available via phone or email when time-sensitive issues arise—because challenges don’t stick to a schedule.
I take a limited number of coaching clients, so contact me today to reserve your spot.
